Hair Cut??

Hello all! So this will be just a brief post of one of my favorite dresses that I purchased up in Portland! It's the sweetest little sweater dress that will be perfect for the summer. It has little buttons at the collar that I fell in love with. I'm a sucker for the tiniest of details :)

On another note, I've been wanting to cut my hair for a long time and I'm absolutely torn! I've been growing my hair out for so long and I feel like it just never gets longer... which makes me want to cut it. It seems it will never get to be the length I want it. But that's also why I don't want to cut it. I feel like it'll never get long again! Ugh... Any thoughts?! I want something that looks bob-ish when straight, but I need layers or I turn into triangle head when it's curly. Haha. My inspiration is Annie Clark of St. Vincent. She's, first of all, a gorgeous woman, amazing musician AND she has curly hair :)

Not quite as short as the first photo ;) Give me your opinions!

xo, Bruklyn

Shorten it a bit at a time! Don't make such a big cut, in case you regret it! Maybe try shoulder length first?

I love the dress! Especially with the brown belt and shoes added!
I am in the same boat as you on the hair dilemma. Hair growing just takes too long and I get so impatient. That girl's hair is adorable and probably wouldn't take much work! It's always such a tough decision!

Lookin' good girl!
You know my thoughts on short hair... so I say yes... you should totally go for it. Maybe chin length first.
My advice: go to a reeeally good stylist to get it cut off. I know we've both learned that the hard way :)

Ahhh, I LOVE Annie Clark. St. Vincent is amazing. I missed her concert when she came to town once and I'll always regret it. I love her short, curly bob. Go for it!

The Dress is lovely! your Hair, I say Cut it. I am having the same dilemma as I have Long hair. i recently cut 3" and no one even noticed. I'm thinking I may cut off another 3" to see if I get any reaction. Thankfully
hair goes back and if all else fails hats are super cute :)

It's hair! It will grow back :D If it's long enough (10 inches) have you thought of donating it to an organization such as locks of love? I've done it once before and am growing mine out again to donate someday soon- probably after summer (I like to think of it as my mermaid hair- hehe) The photos of the hair you like are adorable! and quite care-free :D

I had a stylist who talked me out of cutting my hair short twice, so I ended up going elsewhere and getting it cut short. I love it! I had long hair and now its above the shoulder, perfect for summer :)
