Day 7: I am Leo

My astrological sign...

Well, my astrological sign is Leo. However, I don't buy into all the hoopla. Everyone I know who is actually into astrology says that my sign, hands down, is Virgo. So since I don't really believe in any of this stuff, I thought I'd use today as an excuse for an outfit post :) I rarely do them, but I'm really trying to be a better blogger these days and since I was stopping by the studio for an Etsy shoot anyway, I thought I'd show off my adorable new lion necklace!

Blog Award?

Well, folks, I've been given my first blog award! The Versatile Blogger? I'm not exactly sure what that means, haha, but I appreciate it so much! Particularly because it was given by a lovely lady who's blog I've been obsessing over as of late - Kelly at ...sour tang:)

So since #1 is done...

1. Over the past few months I've taken incredible interest in getting to know and love myself. It's paid off immensely and I couldn't possibly encourage people to do this more :)

2. I'm Oregonian to the bone. I positively love the place that I live. HOWEVER, I visited the East Coast when I was young and loved it. I've always felt that I'd like to live there at some point in my life and I feel like I'm definitely getting close to that point. Either Boston or somewhere in Vermont. Any suggestions?

3. The first thing I ever wanted to do was become a writer. Although I now know that it is NOT the job for me, I still absolutely want to write a book and have a few ideas of potential topics.

4. I started teaching myself guitar about three years ago. I'm still not great, but I'm certainly getting there and I've finally started playing shows in my little town! It's nerve-racking, but so far, lots of fun.

5. I have a boxer named Mollie who is practically my child. She is the sweetest thing on earth :)

6. I am extremely picky about condiments and have only found one type of Ranch that I like... Subway ranch. Don't ask me why. It just has that special something.

7. My 22nd birthday is next month and I've only ever had one real birthday party. Even that one went horribly, so I'm hoping to have a great birthday party this year :)
